Located in the very heart of Vermont, Rochester and The Huntington House Inn can be your headquarters for exploring Vermont in every season. Close enough to enjoy several of the areas finest ski resorts and tourist attractions yet far enough away to avoid the maddening crowds.
The Inn is one of many graceful period homes surrounding Rochester's four acre park, with panoramic views of the Green Mountains, including the adjacent Green Mountain National Forest and Moosalamoo National Recreation area.
Being nestled in the quaint village of Rochester,with all it's natural beauty and friendliness we invite you to come experience a way of life we take for granted. You might find this is The Vermont you're looking for.
Home to five generations of Doctor's (The Huntington Family), The Huntington House Inn was exquisitely restored in 2003 and offers six beautifully appointed guest rooms. In the adjacent Top of the Park building, we have well appointed condominiums with 1 and 2 bedrooms.

OUR ROOMS
The Inn was completely renovated in 2003 and all of our comfortable guest rooms have been attractively decorated and offer hand crafted Vermont cherry pencil post beds, private baths, air conditioning, cable tv, and internet access (Fiber).

EAT AND DRINK
Diner's enjoy Doc's Tavern with it's "Cheers" like conviviality. Opened in the newly renovated barn and out door covered porch area, adjacent to the Inn, the Tavern has quickly become a favorite of both locals and visitors alike.

Chef Vincent Purcell and his fine kitchen staff offer Vermont fresh produce in many of his signature dishes. Wines have been carefully selected from the finest vineyards around the world. Casual elegance in a rural Vermont village.
Doc's Tavern is a relaxed environment for meeting friends, having a drink or enjoying an informal meal.

Featuring 16 local VT beers on tap, five large screen TV's, 2 pool tables, music and plenty of conversation to keep anyone entertained. Or just sit back in one of it's many cozy booth's and enjoy a great meal in a relaxed setting. We invite you to come meet old friends or make new ones. Doc's Tavern offer outdoor seating during the warmer months. Whatever your choice, you will be greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The new owners of the Inn are fabulous. We were up for a wedding and they allowed us to sign in early so we could dress for the occasion. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world it was so good. Regina and Vincent made us so welcome we felt like we had known them forever. Almost like being part of the family. If ever two people were meant to run a great Inn, Regina and Vincent fit the bill to a tee. Awesome job guys. Keep up the good work and we will see you soon.
